Celebrating Music and the Arts at Haworth Primary School

At Haworth Primary School, we take great pride in our broad and enriching Music and Arts provision. Our commitment goes beyond the classroom curriculum to offer a vibrant and inclusive range of experiences that allow our pupils to explore their creativity and shine.

Our wider arts offer includes:

• Hosting themed art exhibitions for families, such as our Remembrance Day poppy display, showcasing the talents of our young artists

• Supporting a thriving school choir of over 50 pupils who take part in exciting extra-curricular events, including performances at Young Voices in Manchester, Airedale Hospital, and Lindisfarne Care Home

• Partnering with Rock Steady to give pupils the opportunity to join real rock bands, rehearse together, and perform live in front of the whole school

• A Year 6 production, complete with stage, microphones and lighting.
• Singing in all assemblies, including our very own Haworth Primary School song.
• Holding whole-school competitions, such as the annual Haworth bake off and 'design your own red nose', where all children, families and staff are invited to take part.

These opportunities help to build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for the arts. We believe that by nurturing artistic expression, we are supporting our pupils to grow as well-rounded, confident individuals.
