This afternoon was our termly Rock Steady concert. 4 of our school bands performed in front of their parents, carers and peers and what a rocking show it was! Incredibly proud of our children for showing bravery and displaying incredible talent!
Choir tour rumbles on - Lindisfarne Care Home!
The choir continued their Christmas tour today by visiting Lindisfarne Care Home and performing for their residents. They were fantastic and spread the Christmas spirit superbly!
Choir performance on Main Street!
It may have been the weekend, but earlier this afternoon, members of Haworth choir performed on St Michael & All Angels Church steps as part of the Christmas in Haworth celebrations. They sung beautifully and we are very proud of how they represented our school. Well done to all involved!
Haworth Bake Off 2025 Winners!
After lots of tasting, and a long, hard time deliberating, the Star Bakers from the Great Haworth Bake Off were chosen. A huge well done and thank you to all involved as this helped to raise £473.60 for Children in Need.
Today we held our Remembrance Day Art Gallery, where the incredible work produced by all of our children across school in their 'Poppy Art' units have been proudly displayed. We also lined the school corridor this morning, at 11:00, to hold a two-minute silence to pay our respects as a whole school community. Haworth remembers.
This afternoon three of our school councillors visited Morrisons to top up the food bank with the money raised from the fancy dress day that we held before the half term holidays (£110 - a huge thank you!). The children decided what to spend the money on from the Food Bank's desired items, totalled up the spending and even helped scan the items. Other members of the school council will support in taking the food to the food bank later in the week. A huge thank you for your support and genorosity - we couldn't have done this without you!
Over the past month, our Under 11 Girls and Under 11 Boys football teams cometed in the Keighley Football competition at Marley. Both teams performed brilliantly and showed all the qualities taht we are so proud of at Haworth, including teamwork, respect and sportsmanship. Some of our children also took part in the Keighley Cross Country event at Carlton. We have 9 children who have qualified for the finals later this year, with two of our children finishing in first place in their respective races. Well done - we are very proud of you all!
What a half term of Outdoor Learning we have had! Years 1 - 4 have been using our outdoor space to complete orienteering activities and learn about habitats. Year 5 and 6 have been focussing on outdoor art and mapping. On top of their learning, the children have had bundles of fun! We can't wait to use our outdoor space further next half term!
Our under 9 boys team competed at Marley yesterday and finished 3rd. An amazing achievement! We were even more impressed with the team spirit and sportsmanship they displayed throughout! Well done!
On 25th September, our whole school took part in a CPR-athon and raised a huge £1960 for Airedale Hospital's Emergency Department. A massive well done to all of our children and thank you to all of our families!

Shrek the Musical hits Haworth!
The Year 6 children have been performing their end of year show to students and parents this week, completing three amazing shows. The talent on display was incredible!

School Discos!
This week we have held our school discos! All children had a brilliant time and you all looked amazing!

Wydean Weaving visit
Over the past half term, our Year 6 children have been completing a project alongside local business Wydean Weaving. This culminated in a visit to the factory. The children produced exceptional vlogs and loved visiting. A huge well done to all of our pupils and a massive thank you to Wydean for accommodating us!

Sports Day 2025
All of our children have competed in Sports Day this week. They all reflected our Haworth Heroes superbly, showing great teamwork and resilience to rise to the challenges set. Thank you to all parents who attended, supported and helped out!

VE Day Celebrations
Today we welcomed our Haworth families into our school playground to both remember and celebrate VE Day. There was music, party food and activities to celebrate, whilst we held a minutes silence to remember those that are no longer with us.

Reception Litter pick
At Haworth Primary, we know it is important to look after the environment, including our local community. Today our youngest pupils ventured out to Haworth Park and took part in litter picking. Amazing service to our community - well done!

Going For Gold
