Relationships, Behaviour & Attitudes
'Pupils build strong relationships and look out for one another. They have confidence in the behaviour systems and the trusted adults in school. This helps them to feel safe and valued.' Ofsted October 2024
At Haworth Primary School, we believe that happy children learn best. Our values of Respect, Kindness and Teamwork are at the heart of everything we do, helping us to create a safe, welcoming and supportive environment where every child feels valued.
We teach our children to show respect for themselves, for others, and for the world around them. Through kindness, we help them to develop empathy, understanding and strong friendships. Teamwork runs through all aspects of school life, encouraging children to work together, support one another and celebrate each other's achievements.
We have high expectations for behaviour and attitudes, and we work closely with children to help them make good choices, reflect on their actions, and learn from their experiences. Positive behaviour is recognised and encouraged every day, while any difficulties are approached with care, fairness and consistency.
Most importantly, we nurture positive attitudes to learning. We want our children to be curious, confident and resilient, ready to embrace challenges and celebrate their progress. With the right support and encouragement, every child at Haworth Primary can flourish.
